Role Overview
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Architect is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform implementations. This role ensures the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives, Microsoft best practices, and enterprise architecture standards.
The Solution Architect provides technical leadership across the delivery lifecycle, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful implementation and long-term platform sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Define end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Field Service.
Design scalable and extensible solutions leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
Lead platform architecture decisions, including data modeling, security design, performance optimization, and scalability planning.
Perform detailed fit-gap analysis and translate business requirements into robust technical and architectural designs.
Ensure adherence to Microsoft Success by Design, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and architectural best practices.
Integration & Data Architecture
Architect enterprise-grade integrations using Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and API Management.
Define and govern data migration strategies, including staging, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
Ensure data consistency, security compliance, and optimal performance across integrated systems.
Technical Leadership & Governance
Provide technical leadership and direction to functional consultants, developers, and Power Platform teams.
Review, validate, and approve solution designs, customizations, and integration approaches.
Establish and enforce governance standards for environments, solution management, ALM, and CI/CD pipelines.
Identify and proactively manage technical risks, ensuring solution quality and platform stability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery Support
Act as the primary technical authority for business and IT stakeholders.
Lead technical workshops, architecture walkthroughs, and design reviews.
Support project delivery through design guidance, issue resolution, and deployment oversight.
Pre-Sales & Advisory
Support pre-sales engagements, including solution architecture definition, effort estimations, and proposal development.
Contribute to the development of reusable assets, reference architectures, accelerators, and best-practice frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience
12+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365 implementations.
Proven experience serving as a Solution Architect on large-scale, multi-module enterprise programs.
Technical Expertise
Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE modules:

+ Marketing
+ Field Service Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
Strong understanding of platform architecture, system integration, data modeling, security, and scalability.

Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, and release management.
