Job description – Solution Architect for Data Analytics
As an Operations Transformation team, we implement information-driven strategies, data platforms and advanced data analytics solution systems that help grow, optimize and protect EY internal organizations mainly GDS. We go beyond strategy and provide end to end design, build and implementation of real life data environments in partnership with internal consulting and IT organizations to achieve the same. We are looking for a Solution Architect for our Operations Transformation team as a full time position in our Bangalore offices. As the Solution Architect, you should be able to draw the blueprint of a grand data 'cathedral', whilst at the same time, understand the engineering for the blueprint to come to pass. You will be the Technical go-to person, the Technology Influencer, the Product Advocate.

Your key responsibilities

• Creative mind to think out of the box to design data - analytical solutions, eg Data Lake, Analytics / ML landscape.
• Able to distil and translate customers' requirements into a simple yet elegant solution.
• Be the trusted advisor to customers and be the voice of the customer within the team.
• Have the grit to lead the project team to solve difficult technical challenges; able to roll up your sleeves if necessary.
• Excellent cooperation and communication skills; able to work with colleagues and customers from different cultures and countries.
• Collate technical and functional requirements through workshops with senior stakeholders in finance, risk, facility management, IT, S2P and other operations teams.
• Create and present the solution/technical design through documents and presentations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 10+ years of experience in Data Lake, Data Analytics projects, and/or any IM (Information Management) related projects
• Date Lake / Big Data / BI end to end Implementations
• Good understanding of Visualisation tools (Power BI / Tableau / Qlikview )
• Hands on SQL, Data Ingestion, Data Modeling and Data Visualisation.
• Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
