Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks. Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to align design outputs with manufacturing feasibility and cost efficiency. Interpret technical drawings, mechanical systems, and component specifications. Review and validate designs for compliance with customer and industry standards. Manage revisions, design changes, and documentation control in line with project needs. Supervise junior designers/draftsmen, ensuring adherence to company standards. Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and maintain accurate design files. Provide technical support during the manufacturing or fabrication process. Lead or support product development initiatives, R&D efforts, and prototype testing. Ensure timely completion of design deliverables and support project timelines. Coordinate with vendors and clients to understand and implement design requirements.
