Job Description

Mechanical SolidWorks Designer:

3D Modeling and 2D Drawing Creation:

Developing detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks.

Design for Manufacturing (DFM):

Ensuring designs are feasible and manufacturable, considering factors like cost, material selection, and production processes.

Design Reviews:

Participating in design reviews to provide feedback and ensure designs meet project requirements.

Collaboration:

Working with engineers, manufacturing teams, quality control, and other stakeholders to ensure design alignment.

Documentation:

Maintaining and updating design documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and other relevant information.

Product Development:

Contributing to the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving design issues, troubleshooting, and optimizing designs.

Staying Updated:

Keeping abreast of new technologies, design trends, and best practices in SolidWorks and mechanical design.
Skills Required:

SolidWorks Proficiency:

Strong skills in 3D modeling, assembly, and creating detailed drawings.

Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals:

Understanding of mechanical design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes.

Communication and Collaboration:

Ability to effectively communicate design intent, collaborate with teams, and present ideas.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze designs, identify issues, and propose solutions.

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accuracy and precision in designs and documentation.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
