Key Responsibilities / Job Duties

Understand the

design requirements

of the company as well as for end users. Manage all

design-related work

within the company and oversee the design team's activities. Ensure

daily reporting

and task tracking of the design team. Inspect and approve all

3D designs, GA drawings, production drawings, and BOMs

before release. Coordinate with

store and purchase departments

regarding material specifications and availability. Review

work orders

and collaborate with the

project team

for any required modifications. Maintain complete

design documentation and revision records

. Plan and allocate

design activities

as per timelines provided by the Project or PPC teams. Verify and approve

technical specifications

of components used in designs. Participate in and ensure successful

design-related audits

. Maintain strict

confidentiality

of all design data and information. Develop and implement

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

for all design processes and ensure adherence by the team. Inspect

production and manufacturing issues

caused by design errors and list out corrective design improvements. Explore and implement

innovative ideas

for product improvement and design optimization. Manage and maintain all

assets of the design department

efficiently.

Required Abilities and Skills

Proficient in

SolidWorks

- including Sketch, Features, Weldments, Sheet Metal, Drawings, Simulations, and Routing modules. Strong knowledge of

machine design

principles with ability to perform engineering

calculations

and identify appropriate material specifications. Understanding of

pressure vessel design

standards and practices. Familiar with

manufacturing processes

including fabrication, machining, pipeline, and assembly operations.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
