Position: Solid Waste Management & Procurement expert
Engineering Degree in Civil/
Mechanical/ Environmental
Sciences or Master’s in
environmental sciences.
Experience in implementing
SWM projects in state/
central level & hands on
experience in Procurement
process is desirable.
1. He/ She will be responsible for
implementation of solid waste
management projects of DUD and
ULBs.
2. Support DUD and ULBs in relation
to compliance of SWM Rules 2016 and
Plastic Waste Management Rules 2016.
C&D waste Management Rules 2016.
3. Capacity Building of ULB in SWM
& handholding of ULBs in SWM
projects.
4. Assist DUD & ULBs in
implementation, monitoring, operation
and maintenance etc. of solid waste
management
5. Procurement and monitoring
support to the Authority for solid waste
management.
