Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

VMC SolidCAM Programmer

to join our manufacturing team in

Sahibabad

or

Jewar (UP)

. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in

SolidCAM programming

,

VMC setup

, and

CNC machining

of precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC machines using

SolidCAM

for 2.5D, 3D milling, HSM, and iMachining processes. Independently set up and operate

Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)

. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, 3D CAD models

, and apply

GD&T

. Select tools, define speeds and feeds, and optimize machining parameters. Perform job setups, tool offsetting, and first-piece inspection. Simulate and verify CNC programs for accuracy and efficiency. Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments. Work closely with design, quality, and production teams to meet deadlines. Maintain CNC program records, setup sheets, and tooling data. Follow company safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Required Skills:

Proficient in

SolidCAM

(mandatory). Strong experience in

VMC operations

and

CNC programming

(Fanuc / Siemens). Sound understanding of

cutting tools

,

machining parameters

, and

material behavior

. Experience with

CAD software

(SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred. Good knowledge of

G-code / M-code

, offsets, and post-processing. Familiar with precision measuring tools: Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Height Gauge, etc. Ability to work independently and manage jobs with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience:

Multi-axis VMC exposure (4-axis / 5-axis) is a plus. Industry experience in

automotive, aerospace, mold & die, or precision tooling

. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, or Lean Manufacturing practices.
