Solaris / LINUX Admin Solaris - Versions 9,10,11 Solaris OS installation and configurations Familiarity with server virtualization technologies (e.g. LDOMs, Solaris zones, Solaris Volume Manager ) Global Zone- SUN Cluster VERITAS Volume Manager(VxVM) VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS), Experience in ZFS Good Understanding of trouble shooting & Solaris Commands Managing User Accounts and Groups (Tasks) Booting and Shutting Down an Oracle Solaris System Working With Oracle Configuration Manager Managing system Services (Tasks) Using the Fault Manager (SMF) Managing Solaris System Information and OS Logs (Tasks) Managing Solaris System Processes (Tasks) Monitoring System Performance (Tasks) Managing Software Packages (Tasks) Scheduling System Tasks (Tasks) Managing the System Console, Terminal Devices, and Power Services (Tasks) Managing System Crash Information (Tasks) Managing Core Files (Tasks) Troubleshooting System and Software Problems (Tasks) Troubleshooting Miscellaneous System and Software Problems (Tasks) LINUX Admin. Mandatory Skills Required
  • Linux System administrator should have experience in Installation and configuration of
Linux-based Operating Systems (RedHat RHEL 7.x & 8.x, SUSE SLES 12.x & 15.x, Oracle etc.) Administrators is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting. Linux servers, networks, applications and Virtualization platform such as Xen Hypervisor, OVM and VMWare etc... Administrators implement Linux, SUSE and PaceMaker Cluster server configuration, which includes installation of all standard plugins, configuration. Administrators need to have experience in handling LVM, NFS, CIFS, and SMB permissions. They need to have the capability to build multiple Linux-base servers with PaceMaker Cluster and Patch installations (Satellite/Foreman, Any third-party tool) upgrade the OS version and maintain intel-base hardware Servers. Total Experience Expected: 06-08 years
