Job Description

1) Brief about the Position / Responsibilities

The Solar Trainer is responsible for delivering hands-on training on solar panel installation and maintenance to students. The trainer will ensure students are workplace-ready with both technical and soft skills by aligning the training with industry standards and employability goals.

2) Key Responsibilities:

Train students on site assessment, installation prerequisites, and material arrangement. Demonstrate mounting, wiring, and installation of solar panels. Ensure post-installation system effectiveness. Develop workplace competencies in students. Motivate students for job placement. Conduct internal assessments and soft skills training. Prepare and submit MIS reports regularly. Maintain class discipline, attendance, and referrals for new batches.

3) Reporting and Team

Reports To:

Head of Department / Project Manager

Team Structure:

Will work closely with training coordinators, placement officers, and administrative staff.

4) Work Location & Language Spoken

Location:

Vikhroli West, Mumbai.

Languages Required:

Hindi, Marathi (preferred), and Basic English

5) Skill Set

In-depth knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes. Basic electrical wiring. Proficiency in training delivery methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong classroom management and motivational ability.

7) Qualification & Experience

Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy fields

Experience:

2 to 6 years of relevant industry or training experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
