Job Description

We are seeking a

skilled and motivated Solar Technician

to join our growing renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring high-quality execution and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, test, and commission solar PV systems (rooftop and ground-mounted). Conduct site assessments and assist in layout planning. Perform electrical wiring, inverter connections, and mounting structure assembly. Monitor and maintain solar installations to ensure efficiency and safety compliance. Diagnose and repair system faults or performance issues. Coordinate with project engineers and site supervisors for smooth project execution. Prepare installation and service reports. Ensure adherence to Hydromo's quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy (or equivalent qualification). 1-3 years of experience in solar PV system installation and maintenance (freshers with technical knowledge may also apply). Understanding of DC/AC electrical systems and safety protocols. Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel to project sites across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with solar inverters, batteries, and monitoring systems. Basic knowledge of water pumping and hybrid solar setups (added advantage). Vendor coordination and on-site troubleshooting experience.
