About the Role



Soltrac Power is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Sales Manager to drive business growth through solar project sales. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of proven experience in solar sales, strong market knowledge, and the ability to lead client acquisition from lead generation to deal closure. This role requires both strategic planning and hands-on execution to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales & Business Development



Identify, approach, and convert potential residential, commercial, and industrial clients for solar projects. Generate leads through networking, cold calls, client meetings, and partnerships. Present solar solutions, prepare proposals, and negotiate deals with clients. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by management.

Client Management



Understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions with technical teams. Build and maintain long-term client relationships with high customer satisfaction. Support clients in financial discussions, ROI analysis, and project approvals.

Market Development



Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in solar energy. Suggest innovative sales strategies to expand the company's market presence. Conduct presentations and promotional activities to create awareness about solar solutions. Coordination & Reporting Collaborate with technical, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of sales commitments. Maintain accurate sales reports, client databases, and pipeline status. Report progress, challenges, and strategies directly to senior management.

Skills & Requirements



Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 2-5 years of proven experience in solar sales (mandatory). Strong understanding of solar systems, components, and project execution cycle. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Target-driven, persuasive, and motivated personality. Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is an added advantage. Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
