Overview:



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Solar Site Visit Technician and service. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough site assessments and surveys for solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:



1.

Site Assessment:



Conduct on-site visits to assess the feasibility of solar energy installations on residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Evaluate site conditions, including roof structure, orientation, shading, and obstructions, to determine suitability for solar panel installation.

Measure roof dimensions and angles using surveying tools and equipment to accurately calculate available space for solar arrays.

Document site characteristics, environmental factors, and any potential obstacles that may impact solar system performance.

Solar Resource Analysis

:

Use solar irradiance data and shading analysis tools to assess the solar potential of the site and estimate energy production.

Analyze historical weather data and local climate conditions to predict solar insolation and sun exposure throughout the year.

Identify optimal locations for solar panel placement to maximize energy generation and minimize shading effects.

3.

Technical Inspection

:

Inspect electrical panels, wiring, and infrastructure to assess compatibility with solar PV systems and identify any necessary upgrades or modifications.

Verify roof condition and structural integrity to ensure it can support the weight of solar panels and mounting hardware.

Assess the condition of existing electrical circuits and determine the need for upgrades or additional equipment to accommodate solar power integration.

Should have knowledge on Inverter and Solar Panels (Strings and Array) Configuration.

4.

Data Collection and Reporting

:

Collect accurate measurements, photographs, and site data during site visits using mobile devices or digital tools.

Prepare detailed site assessment reports outlining findings, recommendations, and constraints for solar system installation.

Communicate assessment results and technical specifications to project managers, engineers, and clients in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:



High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in renewable energy or related field preferred.

Previous experience in site surveying, construction, or related field is advantageous.

Knowledge of solar energy principles, photovoltaic technology, and system components.

Familiarity with surveying tools, measurement instruments, and basic electrical equipment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.

Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate outdoor terrain.

Should have Driving Licence, Own Two wheeler with Documents.

Should be ready to work with Flexible timings.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
