We are looking for an experienced Solar Site Engineer to manage and supervise solar power plant installations at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, coordination with teams, and timely completion of projects. The role requires frequent travel to project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise installation and commissioning of solar PV projects (rooftop and/or ground-mounted).
Manage day-to-day site activities including manpower, materials, and machinery.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards.
Coordinate with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
Ensure compliance with quality control and safety procedures at site.
Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum
3 years of hands-on experience
in solar project execution.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, structures, cabling, and BOS components.
Ability to read and understand electrical and civil drawings.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Other Requirements
Based in
Chennai
or willing to relocate.
Willingness to travel
extensively to project sites across Tamil Nadu or other locations as required.
Ability to work independently at site and handle pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹9,851.22 - ₹32,512.73 per month
