Solar Sales Executive



The Solar Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of solar products and services, establishing strong relationships with customers, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

Actively identify, pursue, and generate new sales leads by reaching out to potential customers, including homeowners, businesses, and commercial clients, through direct sales efforts, referrals, and networking.

Client Consultation:

Provide consultations and product demonstrations to potential customers, assessing their energy needs and recommending the best solar solutions based on their requirements and budget.

Sales Presentations:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, showcasing the benefits of solar energy products and services. Clearly explain product features, pricing, and advantages.

Proposal Development:

Develop and present customized proposals to clients, including detailed product offerings, pricing structures, and financing options, ensuring alignment with their needs.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process.

Lead Follow-up:

Follow up on leads, both inbound and outbound, ensuring timely responses and maintaining a steady flow of opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Sales Targets:

Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company's overall revenue goals and growth objectives.

CRM Management:

Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in the company's CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring follow-ups are timely and consistent.

Market Research:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings in the solar energy sector. Use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and provide valuable insights to customers.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of customer contracts and successful project delivery.

Post-Sales Support:

Provide excellent post-sales support by ensuring clients are satisfied with their solar installations, addressing any concerns, and offering additional services or upgrades as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field (preferred). 1-3 years of experience in sales, ideally in the renewable energy, solar, or related industries. Strong knowledge of solar products, energy solutions, and the benefits of renewable energy is a plus. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
