About the Role
Soltrac Power is looking for an energetic and result-oriented
Solar Sales Officer
to drive sales of rooftop and commercial solar projects. The candidate should have strong communication skills, local market knowledge, and a passion for renewable energy. Experience in
solar sales or related field
will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities - Sales & Lead Generation
Generate leads through field visits, cold calls, references, and campaigns.
Explain solar products and solutions to residential and commercial customers.
Conduct site surveys with the technical team to assess feasibility.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
Client Engagement
Build strong relationships with customers and provide end-to-end support.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
Assist clients with financing options, subsidy details, and documentation.
Ensure timely follow-up and deal closures.
Market Development
Identify potential markets and customers in assigned regions.
Participate in marketing and awareness activities like canopy, exhibitions, and local events.
Stay updated with solar policies, subsidy schemes, and competitor pricing.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with the technical, design, and project teams for smooth project handover.
Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, and sales reports.
Report daily and weekly performance to the Sales Manager.
Skills & Requirements
Graduate in any discipline (Technical background preferred).
1-3 years of experience in
solar or energy product sales
preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of solar systems and installation process.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and field-active.
Proficient in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
Must have a two-wheeler and valid driving license.
