Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solar Technician located in Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area. The Solar Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with solar systems, solar industry, solar power, troubleshooting, and power generation. The Solar Technician will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of solar systems.

Require candidates for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) installers and project coordinator who has skills and experience to assemble, set up, and maintain rooftop or other systems that convert sunlight into energy. Should be flexible on timings and on call as required. Candidates with Solar/Electrical experience shall be preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with a team. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Solar panel installers will have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:

1. Installing new solar panels systems on residential, commercial, or industrial buildings and connecting them to the existing electrical grid where needed.

2. Installing new solar panels on roofs or in parking lots using cranes and other heavy machinery

3. Installing new solar panel components or replacing damaged parts to existing solar panel systems

4. Installing inverters that convert the DC power generated by solar panels into AC power that can be used in homes or businesses

5. Installing wiring for solar panel systems that are not connected to the electrical grid

6. Installing batteries that store electricity from solar panels for use when it is dark or cloudy.

7. Performing routine maintenance on solar panels to ensure their continued operation

8. Providing customers with information about the benefits of solar energy as an alternative energy source. Plan PV system configurations based on customer needs and site conditions

9. PV installers use a variety of hand tools and power tools, including drills, wrenches, saws, and screwdrivers, to set up PV panels and connect them to frames, wires, and support structures.

Education Qualification: Diploma or ITI in Electrical/ others

Desirable: Surya Mitra Trained and having Prior experience in the solar industry, solar installation of at least 5 Solar projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
