Job Title: Solar Project Engineer

Location: Tamil Nadu (Projects across TN & South India) - This is a Site Job - Travel needed

Client Location: Chennai - Ambattur

Job Responsibilities

Execute rooftop & ground-mounted solar PV projects from site survey to commissioning Coordinate with clients, vendors, EPC teams, and DISCOMs Prepare and review project drawings, BOQs, SLDs, layouts, and as-built drawings Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and synchronization Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timelines Handle net-metering, CEIG, TANGEDCO / DISCOM approvals Monitor project progress and submit daily/weekly MIS reports Support O&M handover and performance monitoring

Qualification

BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / EEE / E&I / Mechanical

Solar-specific training or certification is an advantage

Technical Skills Required

On-grid solar PV system design & execution Knowledge of inverters (Sungrow, Solis, Growatt, etc.) Familiar with AutoCAD / PVsyst (basic level) Understanding of earthing, LA, SCADA, monitoring systems Strong knowledge of electrical standards & safety norms

Other Requirements

Willingness to travel to project sites Two-wheeler / Four-wheeler with valid license preferred Good communication & documentation skills
