We are looking for a

Solar Project / Site Engineer

who will be responsible for managing and executing solar power projects at site locations. The role involves site supervision, installation, commissioning, and coordination with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery with uncompromising quality standards. The candidate should have strong knowledge of solar fundamentals (AC/DC) and hands-on site execution experience.

Role Overview

As a Solar Project / Site Engineer, your primary objective will be to monitor site progress, ensure strict adherence to timelines, and maintain the highest quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Owner's engineering and site oversight to ensure timelines and quality standards are met Perform QA/QC activities and conduct regular site inspections Review site execution against approved drawings and designs Supervise daily installation of PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, and BOS components Execute and verify AC/DC electrical works as per standards Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams Prepare and submit Daily and Weekly Progress Reports (DPR/WPR) Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of solar power plants

Required Skills & Knowledge

Strong understanding of solar fundamentals (AC/DC) Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, DC/AC cables, earthing, and protection systems Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts Basic knowledge of electrical safety and site practices Good communication and coordination skills Willingness to travel across multiple site locations

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in rooftop or ground-mounted solar installations Hands-on experience in site execution and supervision Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Local candidates from Uttar Pradesh will be preferred
