Job Summary:

The

Solar Project Supervisor

is responsible for overseeing the on-site execution of solar power projects--residential, commercial, or industrial. This includes managing the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and safety compliance of photovoltaic (PV) systems, while ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Supervision & Execution:

Manage and supervise solar PV system installation on rooftops or ground-mounted sites. Ensure that all installation work is completed according to design specifications and safety standards. Coordinate with electricians, technicians, contractors, and vendors on-site.

Project Coordination:

Plan daily site activities and allocate tasks to technicians and laborers. Monitor the progress of the project and ensure timelines are met. Report any deviations, challenges, or material requirements to the Project Manager.

Quality & Safety Control:

Conduct quality inspections during and after installation. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory regulations. Conduct toolbox talks and site safety briefings.

Technical Tasks:

Assist in solar panel mounting structure alignment, wiring, inverter connection, and commissioning. Troubleshoot technical issues during and post-installation. Get the plant commissioned and charged anyhow Module & MMS installaltion on RCC shed (80 kWp) - 7 Days ??DC String Work on FG Shed and 40-80 Module installation - 4 Days ??Cable Tray Work - 3 Days ??LA Installation - 1 Days ??MCCB installation in ACDB Panel and relevant connection & Cable Terminations - 1 Day ??Cable Dressing - 1 Day ??Inverter Side cable termination and Earthing Work - 1 Day ?LA Earthing - 4 Nos Solar Earthing - 2 Nos ??Small works for commissioning of the site - 3 Days

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain site diaries, inspection checklists, and progress reports. Provide daily/weekly updates to project leadership and clients when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of experience in solar project execution or electrical supervision. Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries (optional), and grid connectivity. Familiar with site drawings, layouts, and single-line diagrams. Proficient in using hand tools and electrical measurement instruments. Good team coordination and communication skills.
