Key Responsibilities:
Conduct door-to-door or scheduled in-person consultations to educate homeowners or businesses about solar energy solutions
Identify potential customers through canvassing, referrals, events, or self-generated leads
Present solar proposals, explain the financial and environmental benefits, and guide customers through the decision-making process
Collaborate with internal teams (design, permitting, and installation) to ensure a seamless customer experience
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-ups using CRM tools
Stay current on industry trends, local solar incentives, and utility regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience in field sales, preferably in solar, home improvement, or energy-related industries
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable with door-to-door outreach and working in various weather conditions
Basic understanding of solar technology, financing options, and energy efficiency
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
