Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Lead Generation & Prospecting:

Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the solar market through networking, referrals, cold calls, and online platforms.

Needs Assessment:

Conduct site assessments and gather technical information to evaluate client energy needs and determine solar installation feasibility.

Sales Presentation:

Prepare and present customized sales proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations to clients, highlighting the benefits and savings of solar energy.

Contract Negotiation & Closing:

Negotiate prices and contracts with customers, manage expectations, and close sales deals to secure new business and meet quotas.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, secure repeat business, and facilitate long-term partnerships.

Collaboration:

Work with engineering, design, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and successful service delivery.

Market Awareness:

Stay informed about the latest solar industry trends, products, technologies, and relevant regulations to effectively communicate benefits to clients.

Reporting & Administration:

Track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and pipeline, and maintain accurate customer and sales records.

Essential Skills and Qualifications



Sales & Interpersonal Skills:

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for building rapport and effectively conveying technical information.

Product Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of solar equipment, energy solutions, and the installation process is required.

Technical Aptitude:

Ability to understand and explain technical information related to solar energy and installations.

Self-Motivation:

Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results.

Experience:

Previous sales experience, particularly in the solar or renewable energy industry, is often a requirement.

Adaptability:

Willingness to travel, work irregular hours, and stay updated on evolving industry trends and technologies.
