Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Manage complete project lifecycle for utility-scale and rooftop solar projects. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee engineering design reviews, technical specifications, and BOQs. Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment in coordination with the procurement team.

Site Management:

Coordinate site activities, installation, and commissioning as per approved drawings and safety standards. Lead site surveys, feasibility studies, and resource planning. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards at all sites.

Vendor & Contractor Management:

Identify, negotiate, and manage contractors/subcontractors. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure quality compliance. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Quality Assurance:

Implement and monitor quality control processes at every project stage. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning. Ensure documentation for inspections, QA/QC checks, and approvals.

Stakeholder & Client Management:

Serve as the single point of contact for clients and stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Resolve project issues and escalations promptly.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the project team, site engineers, and contractors. Monitor team performance and ensure alignment with project goals.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports. Track project KPIs, timelines, and cost variances. Ensure proper handover documents, as-built drawings, and compliance certifications.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).

5-8 years of experience in Solar EPC project management (rooftop & utility-scale preferred).

Strong understanding of solar PV systems, switchgear, inverters, transformers, and grid connections.

Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
