Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically skilled Solar Design Engineer to support our project design

team. The candidate should have 4-5 years of experience in preparing rooftop and ground-

mounted solar PV system designs, BOQs, and electrical layouts using industry-standard tools

and software.

Key Responsibilities:

Create solar PV system designs including array layout, SLDs, and energy yield reports. Use software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope to simulate and validate
designs.

Prepare accurate BOMs/BOQs and project documentation for execution. Perform site feasibility analysis using survey data, satellite imagery, and shading analysis. Coordinate with procurement and project teams for design validation and updates. Optimize system performance by proposing efficient component placement and sizing.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field. 4-5 years of experience in solar PV design and simulation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel, and basic electrical design tools. Understanding of PV modules, inverters, and BoS components. Ability to analyze site conditions and prepare layout plans accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing for both on-grid and off-grid systems. Familiarity with DISCOM regulations and MNRE technical standards. Prior experience in net-metered or hybrid solar systems.
