Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Solar Engineer

with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) layouts and energy storage solutions. Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar installations. Perform technical calculations, energy yield assessments, and cost-benefit analyses. Assist in the selection of appropriate solar panels, inverters, and other system components. Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to solar installations. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and proposals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and electricians. Stay updated with advancements in solar technology and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. 1 to 2 years of experience in solar energy systems design and installation. Proficiency in PV system design software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD). Knowledge of electrical schematics, load calculations, and grid interconnection. Understanding of solar energy policies, standards, and safety regulations. Hands-on experience with solar panels, inverters, and energy storage solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in solar energy systems (e.g., NABCEP, SEI) is a plus. Experience with renewable energy software tools. Familiarity with utility-scale and rooftop solar projects.
