Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering

: Expertise in designing solar PV systems for rooftop installations across commercial and industrial sectors. Proficient in optimizing system layouts and ensuring efficient energy generation.

Software Proficiency

: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Solarlab for accurate system design and visualization. Skilled in using

PV Syst

for energy generation simulations and performance analysis.

Electrical Design

: In-depth knowledge of AC and DC cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and cable scheduling to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.

Earthing and Protection

: Strong understanding of earthing system design, lightning protection, and module mounting structures, ensuring system integrity and safety.

Optimization and Analysis

: Experience in performing shadow analysis, load calculations, and panel layout optimization to maximize system efficiency and energy yield.

Standards Compliance

: Familiarity with national and international standards (IS, IEC, MNRE, DISCOM norms) to ensure designs adhere to regulatory requirements.

Technical Documentation

: Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Skilled in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other technical documentation.

Site Survey and Coordination

: Experience conducting site surveys, coordinating with vendors, EPC teams, and clients during the design, execution, and commissioning phases of rooftop solar projects.

Project Management

: Ability to manage multiple rooftop projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.
