Job Description

We are looking for Solar Design Engineer - Electrical background for our client company.

Candidate must have experience for rooftop projects.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

Site visit & Survey. Utilize Helioscope / Sketchup / Similar Design Software as well as AutoCAD/Revit to create initial layouts for the solar projects. Prepare civil and structural documents, capacity estimation, drawings/as built drawings, BOM finalisation. Design major and minor modifications to Solar systems to help incorporate installation of solar projects. Complete structure & layout design including drawings for solar projects. Develop system design concepts along with the scope documents using IS standards (drawings and specs). Inventory existing building Solar equipment and evaluate the condition and operation of existing systems for interconnection purposes. Check existing drawings and survey existing site conditions to determine the best possible locations for the solar project. Identify problem areas that will affect design of new systems. Update construction documents and develop final as-builts. Perform preliminary cost estimates. Provide technical assistance to operations during the project implementation phase. Work in conjunction with the Project team to assist with system design concepts and documents.
