Solar Design Engineer
with

As a
Solar Design Engineer (EPC)
, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial role in the company's ongoing expansion within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
:
Design Solar PV Systems
: Assist in the design and development of solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
System Sizing & Performance Modeling
: Use design software (PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD, etc.) to model and size solar PV systems based on site data and client requirements.
Site Surveys & Assessments
: Conduct on-site surveys in Morbi/Surat and surrounding regions to assess the technical feasibility and environmental conditions for solar installations.
Preparation of Technical Documentation
: Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and system specifications for the implementation of solar projects.
Collaboration
: Work closely with project managers, procurement teams, and installation crews to ensure accurate project implementation from design through to commissioning.
Regulatory Compliance
: Ensure that all system designs meet local and international codes, standards (IEC, BIS, etc.), and utility requirements for grid connection.
Client Interaction
: Assist in discussions with clients to understand project needs, propose design solutions, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Optimization & Analysis
: Perform system optimization, cost analysis, and energy yield calculations to ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Documentation & Reporting
: Maintain accurate records of design processes, equipment selection, and progress reports for internal and client-facing documentation.
Continuous Learning
: Keep up to date with the latest trends in solar technology, regulations, and design tools to enhance your skills and the company's offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education
: Bachelor's degree in
Electrical Engineering

Renewable Energy
, or related fields.
Experience
: 6 months to 1 year of experience in designing solar PV systems in the
EPC
sector.
Software Proficiency
: Proficiency in solar design and simulation software such as
PVsyst

AutoCAD
.
Knowledge
: Solid understanding of
solar energy systems
, including modules, inverters, BOS (Balance of System) components, and energy generation.
Site Knowledge

Regulatory Knowledge
