We are seeking a motivated and skilled Design Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in the solar energy field to join our engineering solar team. As a Solar Design Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of solar power systems. Key responsibilities include solar plant designing, shadow analysis, layout designing, components selection, structure layout drawing, and BOM preparation. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of CAD, AutoCAD, and SketchUp software, along with excellent technical design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Use CAD, AutoCAD, and SketchUp to create detailed designs and layouts for solar systems.
Perform shadow analysis to find the best placement for solar panels and improve energy production.
Design solar layouts, taking into account factors like terrain, shading, and site conditions.
Select the right components for solar systems, including inverters and electrical panels.
Create drawings for mounting structures, ensuring they are strong and meet regulations.
Develop single-line diagrams (SLD) and make sure designs match project needs.
Work with other teams to connect solar systems to existing electrical setups.
Ensure all designs follow codes, standards, and regulations.
Provide support during the installation, testing, and commissioning of solar systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
1 year of experience in solar system design or related field.
Familiarity with CAD, AutoCAD, and SketchUp software.
Basic understanding of solar power systems and electrical components.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
