Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced
Business Development Manager (BDM)
to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales in the solar energy sector across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate leads for potential customers in the Pune region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and market presence.
Work closely with the technical and sales teams to deliver tailored solar energy solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and ROI analyses to clients.
Meet sales targets and regularly report progress to management.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, policies, and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
3-6 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
Good understanding of solar energy products and services.
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic sales reporting.
