What you will be doing

• Provide IT infrastructure & Application operations for Manufacturing (i4.0) IT applications

• Perform Container based Application Deployments, Configurations and Hotfix installations

• Troubleshoot Manufacturing IT Application and infrastructure related incidents

• Close collaboration with Application development team, infrastructure team and Network team to provide

day-to-day operations support for the application

• Onboarding Manufacturing IT application and implementing manufacturing plant specific configurations

• Perform Application and infrastructure Migrations

• Quality delivery of services committed to the customer as per the defined Service Levels and KPI's

• Monitor system performance and ensure Application availability

• Collaboration with onsite /offshore team and customer coordinators, Stakeholders Management,

Technical documentation, and Training delivery

• Ensure Customer Satisfaction, Escalation Management in the Services Delivered and Continuous

improvement of services

• Provide extended support for planned Maintenances and On Call readiness support

• Should be able to work in shifts and travel to customer location for business need

What you bring

• Kubernetes core concepts

• Containerization and Docker essentials

• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio Service mesh

• Linux - CLI and Basic knowledge of various components work (kernel, CPU, memory, disk, network)

• Scripting (Bash and YAML)

• Experience in Containerization & Orchestration (Docker/ Kubernetes/ Rancher)

• Support for Kubernetes based projects to resolve critical and complex technical issues

• Performing application deployments & configuration on Kubernetes cluster

• Infrastructure automation and DevOps tools (Ansible/ Terraform/ Jenkins/ Argo CD)

• ITIL Service Management Framework (Incident, Change, Problem Management)

Added value if you have

• Application and infrastructure Monitoring tools (ICINGA / Grafana / ELK )

• Working experience in Rancher

• Network infrastructure - (VPN, IPsec, Firewall, Load balancing setup and Security implementation)

• Database Administration (Oracle / MySQL / Mongo)

• IoT / IT for Manufacturing - i4.0 concepts

• Working knowledge of various tools and open-source technologies

• ITIL v3 / v4 Foundation certification preferred
