About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Test Planning and Design:
a. Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios tailored to web applications
b. Analyze business and technical requirements to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage
2. Manual Testing:
a. Execute manual test cases to verify the functionality, usability, and compatibility of web applications across multiple browsers and devices
b. Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and assess the user experience
3. Automated Testing:
a. Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
b. Integrate automated tests into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure consistent and rapid feedback
4. Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing:
a. Ensure consistent application performance across different web browsers (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices (e.g., desktops, tablets, mobile phones)
b. Utilize tools and techniques for responsive design and compatibility testing
5. Methodology Awareness: Apply knowledge of various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall) to tailor testing approaches and collaborate effectively with development teams
6. Collaboration and Communication:
a. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
b. Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively to the team and stakeholders
