Naruvi Hospitals is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled

IT Software Test Engineer

to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and user-friendliness of our healthcare software systems. This includes testing applications such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), patient portals, and other critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on software requirements. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for hospital IT systems. Identify, document, and track software bugs and performance issues using bug tracking tools. Collaborate with developers, IT staff, and clinical stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution. Test core hospital applications including EMR, LIS, PACS, billing, and scheduling systems. Ensure testing aligns with healthcare data privacy and security standards. Document testing procedures and prepare detailed QA reports. Assist with system go-live events, validations, and performance monitoring. Support training and feedback collection from end-users during UAT phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1 to 4 years of experience in software testing, ideally in a hospital or healthcare IT environment. Knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing life cycle (STLC), and defect management. Experience with testing tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms. Familiarity with hospital systems like EMR/HIS is a significant advantage. Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing. Strong communication, documentation, and analytical skills. ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory).
