Overview As a part of our latest transformation, we are searching for Senior test engineers to join our rapidly growing Hyderabad Center of Excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality is at the heart of engineering practices, with a bias towards test and tooling automation. Additional responsibilities include reviewing functional and technical requirements, performing research, designing solutions, and developing QA solutions for web-based and desktop enterprise applications. Required skills: 5+ years of testing experience in manual testing Having at least 1-year experience in automation testing You are responsible for all facets of the manual testing process across multiple software solutions with the end goal of releasing high quality software Proficiency in authoring, reviewing, and executing manual test cases. Writing test scenarios, and test cases and coming up with own set of test data for different test scenarios/cases. Review functional and design specifications to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables. Creating a test environment for functional and regression tests. Executing functional as well as regression tests. Build and release tested code to the QA as well as the production environment. Strong understanding of SDLC and the role of a QA Analyst. Strong understanding of software testing techniques and tools. Experience in Agile methodology Closely working in a scrum team to identify test requirements SQL and relational database concepts Exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices Modern source control systems (Git/Bitbucket) Desired Skills & Experience: Good to have work experience of Domino Server design, configuration and deployment Knowledge and recent experience with Lotus Domino and Lotus Notes Good to have experience in Katalon tool (optional) Knowledge on JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, LESS, Typescript, Angular, Web Services, Rest API Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure/ Google) UI Graphical Reporting Tools Experience with risk, compliance and document control business technology Excellent verbal and writing communications skills and be able to work with multiple internal stakeholders Mentor and guide the team Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Utilizing latest versions of our technology stack and be encouraged to think creatively in order to produce high quality, reusable and maintainable automated testing solutions Producing quality, reusable and maintainable automated test code that reduces the need for manual test efforts throughout our development cycles Perform manual and exploratory testing as needed against functionality developed by members of your agile team(s) Work closely with the Product Owner and scrum team(s) to help deliver high quality features inside of agreed timescales Provide technical mentorship and upskilling to scrum team members and across functional boundaries where appropriate Contribute to a culture of high quality, personal ownership and customer focused execution All applicants meeting minimum qualifications will be required to complete a 30 minute online assessment as part of your candidate application.
