What is the opportunity?*
As a Software Tester the person will work with the testing team and quality experts in the Delivery Team, focusing on tailoring and implementing cutting edge products for some of the world's largest banks.Location - Chennai, IndiaWhat will you do?

• Review and understand business requirements, functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverable
• Maintain requirements traceability in order to keep tight control over evolving business requirements
• Create and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases according to project requirements and ensuring the following:
• Creation of test plans, test scenarios and test cases, as well as testing of defect fixes
• Execution of manual and automated test cases
• Adherence to the testing standards and guidelines, quality procedures, and schedules
• Participation with team members in analysis and design reviews
• Provide support for system integration, performance and user acceptance testing as required
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and external

What do I need to succeed?
Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Software Tester
• Basic understanding of software defects
• Understanding Testing processes and methodology
• Able to understand the functionality of the Software Product
• Writing test scripts and Unit Test - Execution
• Knowledge of QMS - Testing
• Basic Awareness of ISO, ISMS
• Functional and Performance Testing tools
• Windows 9x/2000/NT, MS-DOS, Linux, SDLC Testing, test plan, Oracle, DB2, MS Sql, Java/ J2EE
• Experience creating test scripts using test tools
• 3+ years Test Case Execution, Test Data Generation and Test Reporting experience
• Solid experience mapping Business Requirements to Test Scenarios
• Demonstrated experience testing interfaces, reports, and data migration processes
• Min 1 years of experience testing banking and financial services applications
• Familiarity with automated testing

• 1 years of experience testing banking and financial services applications
• Familiarity with performance testing
• Energetic and able to work well with others in a client-focused, innovative, and cross-functional environment
• Good understanding of Analytical & problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills
