Job Description

We are looking for a skilled

Software Test Engineer

with proven experience in

chatbot testing

to ensure the quality, functionality, and user experience of conversational AI systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NLP-based chatbot workflows, test case design, automation tools, and end-to-end testing methodologies for conversational interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, scripts, and scenarios for chatbot and conversational AI platforms. Perform

functional, regression, and integration testing

across multiple channels (web, mobile, social platforms). Validate chatbot responses, context handling, intent recognition, and entity extraction accuracy. Identify, log, and track defects through issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate closely with

developers, product owners, and AI/NLP teams

to improve chatbot performance and conversational flow. Conduct

user acceptance testing (UAT)

and support continuous improvement based on feedback and analytics. Ensure compliance with usability, accessibility, and localization standards. Support

test automation frameworks

for chatbot validation using appropriate tools or scripts. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings as part of the Agile process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum

4 years of experience in software testing

in chatbot or conversational AI testing

. Strong understanding of

NLP concepts

, intents, entities, and dialogue flow testing. Experience with tools like

Postman, Selenium, Appium, Botium, or Chatbot Test Automation Frameworks

. Familiarity with chatbot platforms such as

Dialogflow, Microsoft Bot Framework, IBM Watson Assistant, or Rasa

. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Experience working in

Agile/Scrum

environments.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
