We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer with strong experience in automation testing, functional testing, and solid understanding of modern QA frameworks and tools. The ideal candidate should be proficient in designing performance-driven automation frameworks and executing API and UI test strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium (Java/Python), Cypress (TypeScript), or Playwright (Java).
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across projects.
Design and implement test frameworks using Data-Driven, Behavior-Driven (BDD), or Keyword-Driven approaches.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Execute API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, and SoapUI.
Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and support continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in software testing (automation + functional).
Hands-on experience with:
Selenium (Java/Python)
Cypress (TypeScript)
Playwright (Java preferred)
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: Data-Driven, BDD/Cucumber, Keyword-Driven frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Performance tools such as J Meter and Load Runner.
Strong knowledge of API Testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured and SoapUI.
