We're looking for a detail-oriented Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications across Web, Mobile, and iOS platforms. This role involves designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies while collaborating closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and procedures for software development, integration, and production.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure testability and cost-effective solutions.
Design, execute, and automate test cases for functional and performance testing.
Review product requirements and participate in technical and peer reviews.
Establish and maintain traceability from requirements to test design and execution.
Debug and resolve issues discovered during testing; assist development teams with root cause analysis.
Prepare and maintain detailed test documentation, including plans, reports, and scripts.
Ensure software meets technical and functional requirements, supports workflows, and maintains quality post-deployment.
Contribute to process improvements and continuous integration/DevOps initiatives. Required Skills & Experience
Strong understanding of software design, testing, and debugging practices.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and continuous integration tools.
Proficiency in two or more programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, .NET, Python, VBScript, Perl, HTML, Objective C, or Gherkin.
Experience with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Familiarity with REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git workflow, and Visual Studio IDE.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD, static code analysis, and unit test coverage optimization. Nice to Have
Experience working on cross-functional teams including QA, development, systems, and human factors engineers.
Exposure to AI-based testing tools and regulated environments (e.g., medical devices, finance, or enterprise systems).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with software version control and documentation practices.
