Position Title : Software Test Engineer

Location : Pune, India

A Day in the Life

As a Software Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our application. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, designing and executing test plans to validate functionality. You will report to the Manager from LS GCC and work at Balewadi, Pune, India.

Your Responsibilities

Complete all mandatory trainings of QMS

to stay compliant with organizational standards.

Analyze requirements and design test plans, test cases, and test scripts

to validate functionality.

Execute manual and automated tests

to

identify, document, and track defects

using standard tools.

Collaborate with developers and product managers

to understand features and resolve issues effectively.

Report bugs with detailed documentation

and track them through to closure.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to test automation frameworks

and continuously improve testing processes.

Support release cycles

by validating builds, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.

The Essentials - You Will Have

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). 3 or more years of experience in software testing Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

A master's degree or above is preferred (MCA, MTech). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java) for test automation. Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
