Role Overview

We are seeking a

Software Tester (Automation)

with

5+ years of experience

to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications through a mix of automated and manual testing. The role involves working closely with developers and stakeholders to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain

automated test scripts

using

Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Playwright

. Design and execute

manual test cases

based on functional specifications and user stories. Perform

regression testing

to ensure code changes do not introduce new defects.

Log, track, and manage defects

using tools such as

JIRA or Bugzilla

. Participate in

test planning, sprint discussions, and reviews

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases. Prepare and maintain detailed

test documentation and reports

.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience

in software testing, with a strong focus on

automation (Selenium)

and some manual testing exposure.

Technical Skills & Tools

Automation Tools:

Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or UFT.

Languages:

Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

Test Frameworks:

JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.

Bug Tracking & Test Management:

JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla.

Database & API Testing:

Basic SQL queries and API validation. Exposure to

CI/CD tools

such as

Git, Jenkins

(preferred).

Soft Skills

Excellent

analytical and problem-solving

skills. Strong

communication and collaboration

abilities. Comfortable working in

Agile/Scrum

environments. Ability to

multi-task, prioritize, and adapt

in dynamic project settings.
