Overview
Software Test Engineer for Bangalore location for a major client in Life science
Responsibilities

• Production and maintenance of software test plans, manual test cases, automated test scripts, test execution results and test reports
• Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed.
• System integration (of hardware and software components) and software testing on Windows desktop PCs, emulated platforms and real systems
• Classification (technical and business) and reporting of faults found in a release
• Following through to resolution of all faults discovered in the software
• Will be able to proactively shape the way of working and developments within the team by participating in SCRUM meetings
• Supporting the development & definition of standards and processes for software testing in projects and product developments, working within a framework informed by ISTQB\xc2\xae standards
• Supporting the assessment and introduction of testing techniques and tools
• Work with our multicultural teams building great products and features, creating automated tests and practices, while performing testing related activities

• Academic degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a comparable scientific field

• Min 5 years of experience in testing field
• Proven industrial experience in the software development arena conducting testing within a quality-conscious environment (manual and automation tests)
• Expertise with the software automation tools and framework, processes, practices.
• Knowledge on C#, Ranorex tool is an added advantage.
• Experience with agile software development methods (SCRUM, SAFe) is an advantage
• Experience in working with ISTQB\xc2\xae approach and standard
• Experience in the creation and execution of functional, system integration (end-to-end), regression and nonfunctional tests (e.g. performance). Hands-on experience with a range of tools supporting automated testing, including Windows based User Interface testing is an advantage
• Experience of working in environments where regular builds, unit tests and software integration testing are the norm.
• Experience of using test management or ALM tools to design, execute and maintain test cases (examples - Siemens Polarion, MS Test manager, Azure Devops Test Plan, HP Quality center/ALM)
