You are responsible for The candidate will be responsible for the build and deployment through our Continues Integration & Delivery pipeline. This candidate will have the knowledge and skill set to work in a CI environment using a wide variety of tools to delivery consistent successful software deployments. The candidate will have the experience and competencies to configure and develop dashboards to report on build and release metrics as well as the health of the overall system. Demonstration of the ability to automate and improve processes that will improve efficiency and effectiveness for our software releases is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an environment where they had ownership of the process and procedures surrounding Release and Deployment of Software Products. Education: Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Science, Information Technology, or equivalent related program or experience Due to the support nature of this job, there will be required off hours support for software release deployments as assigned and production issues as they arise. Production deployments are typically, but can vary, Mondays 3pm EST, Thursday 10pm EST, and Wednesday 8am EST. In addition to production deployments, there could be release candidate deployments that are needed not during standard business hours to unblock testing and hold to the release schedule - this is typically rare. Comp time is defined and will be given based on those definitions and manager discretion. Attend team standup and tech talks daily. Tech talks is where we share knowledge, execute code reviews, complete internal training which allows the full team to be up to date and silos to be avoided. This meeting will typically occur 9am to 10am EST. You are a part of the Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) business group within Philips Healthtech focuses on helping people with problems while they sleep or with issues related to breathing. SRC is a market leader in treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) a condition affecting patients that have trouble breathing while they are sleeping and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs To succeed in this role, you\'ll need a customer-first attitude and the following Desired Technical Skills: Proficient in Configuration and Release Management best practices Experience implementing and automating CI/CD Processes for software delivery. Experience deploying a Micro Services Architecture Application Experience working with Platform as a Service (PaaS) - AWS, Cloud Foundry Experience working with Continuous Integration Tools - TeamCity, Octopus, etc. Experience working with source control - Git, TFS, etc. Experience working with Atlassian productions - JIRA, Confluence Experience configuring and working with deployment automation tools. Experience configuring and working with IT Automation Tools - Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. Experience configuring and working with Analysis Tools Experience following and promoting Agile development practices and working with Agile tools - Rally, Jira, etc. Proficient in one or more scripting languages Knowledge of UI Design Desired Skill Set: Ability to formulate creative solutions to difficult problems. Ability to work independently and as a team. Ability to identify the root cause of process bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvement.
