The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 1500 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest engineering hub. The India Operations Centre is a key aspect of the Power Grids business Power Up transformation program. The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center team at Chennai supports Hitachi Energy\'s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Power Grid business. To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Responsible for evaluating clients\' business needs and translating functional requirements into technology solutions in their domain of expertise. Understands current business processes/flows of the customer, and designs and configures modules to develop high quality business solutions. Works with customers during preliminary installations and testing of developed solutions/products and rectifies potential problems. Typically, there are two types of functional consultants: \xe2\x86\x92package functional consultants (for roles such as ERP, SAP, Oracle) combine business process knowledge with configuration of the package \xe2\x86\x92functional specialty consultants provide expertise in their domains such as securities, insurance, telecommunication, banking, etc. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

Your Responsibilities:

Create and manage digital assets.

Able to recreate the model files with references/stl or other files.

Able to convert the model files which supports unity 3D tool.

Rig models and character animations.

Interpret concept art and sketches to create virtual characters, environment, and props.

Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints.

Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members.

Create textures and UV maps.

Optimize, refine, and correct model geometry.

Work with artists, animators, and programmers to execute projects on time.

Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modeling tools and technologies.

Your Background:

Technical diploma in 3D modeling bachelor\'s degree in an area such as graphic design, animation, fine arts or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in 3D design and modeling.

Expert level knowledge of 3D design and animation tools such as 3DS Max, Maya, Zbrush etc.

An eye for detail and good visualization skills.

Ability to take feedback and make changes as required.

Extensive knowledge of character design, rigging, skinning etc.

Familiarity with animation techniques.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
