What you'll achieve


As a Software Senior Engineer - SecOps , you will be responsible for embedding secure development practices and leading vulnerability management across Dell's product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with engineering and governance teams to drive security improvements and ensure secure, compliant product delivery.


You will:

Lead threat modeling, design security reviews, and vulnerability response processes to identify and mitigate risks Drive secure code practices, vulnerability scanning, triage, and remediation coordination Conduct security testing including functional, dynamic, and penetration testing to validate controls. Manage release compliance artifacts and develop key security documentation Mentor junior engineers and champion security maturity and privacy assessment initiatives

Essential Requirements

5-8 years in product security engineering and vulnerability management with strong SSDLC expertise. Experience in threat modeling, security design, and vulnerability management tools and processes. Experience with penetration testing, container security, OS hardening, and secure CI/CD integration. Experience in programming with Python, Java, Bash, Go, or similar for automation and tool integration.

Desirable Requirements

Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or CSSLP Familiarity with compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, or CCPA
