Responsibilities About this role:
IT Data Domain is one of the many enterprise data lake domains in Wells Fargo. The application team is responsible for driving the design and development of the new Authorized Provisioning Point (APP) focused on IT domain in collaboration and alignment with the Enterprise Data Blueprint architecture. The intent of the IT Data APP is to provide increased consistency, quality, and insight in the information available to manage the business of IT. Some of the key data sources are Service Now, various Asset discovery tools, Hardware and Software inventory, asset life cycle and information security related sources.

In this role, you will:
Responsible for data modeling and analytics solutions, including requestor-facing responsibilities to understand the requirements and create and enhance data models for business solutions. Involves working with source system subject matter experts to analyzing source data, understanding data patterns, and integrating data from multiple sources to build an integrated solution that meets business requirements and end user data consumption needs. Will design data models and build data flows across multiple data domains, including source of record, conceptual, logical, physical, audit models, etc. Will design and architect data models using various data warehouse methodologies, such as Data Vault, Dimensional Modeling, etc. Partner with analytics and reporting teams to define data requirements, source data for reporting, and implement data strategies and solutions. Expected to adhere to Wells Fargo data modeling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related expectations for enterprise data models.

Required Qualifications

5 years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3 years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
5 years of data modeling experience
Good knowledge of SQL, HIVE
