We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven
Software Sales Executive
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, presenting software solutions to clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the software industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and inbound lead follow-up.
Present, promote, and sell software products/services to prospective customers using solid arguments and tailored solutions.
Understand customer needs and requirements and provide software recommendations to meet those needs.
Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to clients, both virtually and in person.
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sales and achieve revenue targets.
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
Stay up-to-date with new product features, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
Report on sales activity, pipeline status, and customer feedback through CRM systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software or technology sales.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of software solutions and technology terminology.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to enterprise-level clients.
Background in consultative or solution-based selling.
Technical aptitude to understand complex software solutions.
Multilingual skills (if selling in international markets).
