Job Description

The Software Sales Executive is responsible for selling software products, SaaS solutions, or IT platforms to new and existing clients. This role involves understanding customer needs, presenting software demos, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring revenue growth through effective prospecting and deal closure.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and qualify potential clients through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and referrals. Research industries and customer segments to target relevant prospects. Maintain a strong and organized pipeline for consistent follow-ups.

2. Product Demonstrations & Presentations

Conduct software demos and product walkthroughs for prospects. Explain product features, use cases, and benefits clearly and convincingly. Customize presentations based on client needs and pain points.

3. Sales Process & Deal Closure

Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting ? demo ? proposal ? negotiation ? closure. Prepare proposals, pricing quotes, and commercial agreements. Negotiate deals while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Achieve monthly and quarterly software sales targets.

4. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business. Act as the primary point of contact during the sales cycle. Coordinate with customer success and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

5. Product Knowledge & Market Awareness

Stay updated on product updates, new features, and industry trends. Understand competitor products and positioning. Provide market feedback to the product and management teams.
