Software QA Engineer

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will ensure continuous improvement through your deep expertise in networking, cloud, automation development, test methodologies, and customer focus. You will be a part of the team that works on cutting-edge technologies like containers and cloud and builds a new SaaS offering for Infoblox. Be a Contributor -- What You'll Do

Develop maintainable test automation frameworks, tools, and automated test suites in response to the growing feature set and customer requirements Work closely with software engineers, test engineers, and product managers from the beginning of the development cycle and be an integral part of the Agile engineering team Work in a fast-paced, continuous integration and delivery-based engineering environment Write test scripts in Python for web-ui and micro services Manage, monitor, test, and execute on a daily basis Build cloud infrastructure and automation frameworks for deploying, managing, and monitoring SaaS applications running on AWS

Be Prepared -- What You Bring

3+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing functional and end-to-end automation tests Proven track record in building scalable, maintainable automated test suites for microservices-based architectures Hands-on experience with Agile practices and tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, JIRA, and Git (highly preferred) Strong proficiency in Python with the ability to write clean, modular, and reusable automation code Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines Ability to design, develop, and maintain robust test harnesses and automation frameworks Skilled in documenting test execution results, defects, and overall test deliverables Proficient with automation testing frameworks -- pytest preferred Strong knowledge of REST APIs, including validating endpoints and building automation around programmable interfaces

First 90 Days:

Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months:

Gain expertise in Python, Kubernetes, Micro Frontend, and microservices testing while improving efficiency in project delivery

One Year:

Contributed to testing Kubernetes infrastructure, led project ownership, and deployed/managing services on Kubernetes
