Envision yourself at Barracuda Barracuda’s Application Security team builds our Web Application Firewall (WAF) and WAF-as-a-Service product lines, protecting against the latest web application threats such as API attacks, bots, and client-side attacks. Our customers range from top-5 global banks and oil companies to small businesses who lack IT expertise – therefore, a key focus of our engineering efforts is using strong QA process and automation to help our customers detect threats and tune their configuration for maximum security.
Tech Stack:

• Working knowledge in testing Layer4-Layer 7 functionalities on a networking product
• knowledge in PERL and Python scripting
• Very good understanding of HTTP/S, TCP/IP Concepts
• Working knowledge of Public Cloud Platform is preferred

What you’ll be working on

• Manual testing of functional tests on Web Application firewall on Appliance and Public Cloud Platforms including Azure and AWS.
• Interacting with different stake holders during development phase. Involving with development team in CI/CD process.
• Running and maintaining regression tests suites developed on PERL/PYTHON.
• Automation of new functional test cases on different form factors.
• Responding to customer escalations by recreating the scenarios and providing debugging information to Dev team for a quick turnaround.
• Testing of Hot fixes to be provided to the customer.

What you bring to the role

• Must have experience (2-4 years) in testing Networking products preferably Layer4-Layer 7 functionalities.
• A very good understanding of complete software development life cycle. A thorough exposure to Agile methodology.
• Must have experience with Perl or Python.
• Advantage for knowledge in internet protocols such as IP, TCP, and HTTP.
• Very good problem-solving skills and good experience in debugging topology issues.
• Enthusiasm to learn and be a good team player.
