Job Description


NVIDIA is looking for Software QA Engineer who is passionate to drive quality improvements. This essential role will give you an opportunity to collaborate with other test and development teams to build and qualify exceptional products. What you\'ll be doing:

Design, build and implement White box test cases and Test plans on Pre-Silicon(FPGA), Silicon on engineering Chip validation platforms using ARM Linux/QNX Software.

Test Plans include various components of the platform including Kernel, Memory, IO interfaces(USB, PCIe, UFS, Ethernet etc.\xe2\x80\xa6), File system at unit level and System level.

Work on validating the CPU, Memory, system buses, IO buses, IO interfaces(USB, PCIe, UFS, Ethernet etc.\xe2\x80\xa6) and nvidia proprietary IP\'s.

Knowledge on Networking with testing experience on TSN and MACsec is a plus

Work closely with Multi-functional teams like hardware ASIC, FPGA teams, SW development teams on new requirements, products or features/improvements of existing products, test plans, test methods and debugging.

Troubleshoot bugs and provide resolution, you will play a key role in fixing bugs.

What we need to see:

Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science/Electronics/Telecommunication

3+ Years of Extensive Test development, execution/Validation experience on Silicon platforms in the area of Embedded/SoC (QNX/Android/Linux) platforms

Pre-silicon, FPGA prototyping / Emulation testing is a plus.

ARM SoC architecture and Server / Automotive SoC (Linux/QNX) Operating system knowledge is must.

Confirmed Testing experience on key interfaces such as PCIe, USB3, UFS, Ethernet, SDMMC, eMMC, I2C, SPI, CAN.

Knowledge of Linux Kernel, Boot loader, Device drivers testing and Firmware testing.

Understanding of Virtualization concepts, Multicore/Multiprocessing fundamentals.

Excellent debugging and analytical skills, knowledge on using Analyzer/Oscilloscope is added advantage.

Experience in Write/design new test plans & test cases across different layers through scientific methods.

Knowledge of different test types and methods to build test plans (Functional, non-functional, stress/stability etc.\xe2\x80\xa6.)

Ability to compile/cross compile tools/binaries for Embedded/ARM64 platforms.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Show previous experience with White box test plans and test cases development with Automotive Platforms.

A track record of solving problems with tangible solutions.

Demonstrate testing knowledge and delivery of High-speed IO interfaces on ARM platform in the previous role.

Python scripting / Automation knowledge is a plus.

Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Exposure to standards related to Automotive (ISO/CAN Conformance standards/Auto SAR/Automotive SPICE etc.) will be nice to have.

Dedicated and ability to work with a minimum of supervision
