Software Project Executive
, who will play a key role in coordinating software development, implementation, and optimization across academic and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Implementation
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of ERP and institutional software projects in line with PSGRKCW's digital transformation goals.
Collaborate with academic departments, administrative offices, and software vendors to ensure requirements are well-defined and delivered on time.
Coordinate between functional users and technical teams for requirement gathering, testing, and deployment.
Track project milestones, prepare status reports, and highlight risk or delay factors to the reporting authority.
Facilitate end-to-end documentation, including project scope, process maps, user manuals, and testing checklists.
User Support & System Administration
Provide functional support to end-user's post-deployment and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of institutional software systems.
Conduct user training sessions, prepare quick reference materials, and assist in system onboarding.
Monitor and maintain data accuracy, user access control, and information security standards.
Process Automation & Improvement
Identify areas for automation and workflow optimization within academic, examination, HR, finance, and administration domains.
Work closely with software vendors and IT support teams to configure and enhance modules based on evolving institutional requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of ERP functionality through systematic feedback and data analytics.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain up-to-date project documentation, version control, and change management logs.
Prepare analytical and progress reports for review by senior management.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, audit requirements, and digital governance norms.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination, communication, and project tracking abilities.
Sound understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and ERP environments.
Proficiency in requirement gathering, workflow documentation, and system testing.
Ability to handle multi-department coordination and vendor communication.
Working knowledge of MS Office, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project), and data visualization platforms.
Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
2-6 years of relevant experience in software project coordination, ERP support, or IT implementation--preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
Prior exposure to academic ERP systems (such as e-Campus, Fedena, PeopleSoft, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
Certification in project management or agile methodologies will be an added asset.
